Walking the line between a playroom and living room

One of the best benefits of FLOR is its versatility.  It can be fun and playful, while durable and stylish.  See this customer’s story about how FLOR created a stylish playroom that wasn’t hidden away.

Hiya!twistandshout

A few years ago, we received one of your catalogs in the mail. I tucked it away in my idea file to save for when we moved into a new house. Looked like a lot of fun and would fit in with our love of customizable decorating. Just a matter of time, I kept telling myself.

Finally that time came last month when I wanted to get down to business in our new playroom. I wanted something fun and energetic for our son, veering away from cutesy as much as possible. The play room is actually our formal living room (do people even use those any more?) and open to most of the lower level, so doing the project with some panache and style was absolutely critical. Twist and Shout in teal and lime stripes (product featured is Feelin’ Groovyfit the bill perfectly. And yes, it was even fun for me to install. They don’t lie about that! Came together very quickly.

Getting ready to order again for our dining room. Love your super fast shipping too. I literally get a shipping notice within a hour of ordering and then it is at my house in two days. Can’t beat that!

Thanks!

Erin

Hi, I was wondering about your catalogs. Do you use pictures of actual homes or does your catalog recreate scenes? Specifically in the 2007 late spring catalog, page 55, where did the wall stencils come from?
I’m looking for my room and all the stencils I find are too uptight or formal.

    Thanks,
    take care,
    Cammy

    Hey Cammy,

Our catalog images are of “real” people’s homes. Although we do a ton of styling, there are specific pieces that belong to the homeowner. In this case, the stencils belong to the owner and we do not have the information of where they purchased them. I am sorry we couldn’t be more helpful. If you have any other questions that we can assist with, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Gina
