Casa Camper. Simple, modern Boutique Hotels. One in Barcelona, and another in Berlin, two appropriately design centered cities. The design of these hotels distinctly reflects the Camper brand and identity, admittedly one of my favorites. The images here are of Casa Berlin, with bold graphics defining both the exterior and the interior environments. The numbered rooms visible to the passerby on the street, creates a graphic design grid of type, a large-scale artwork on the facade of the building. Designed with some unique planning concepts, and a restaurant by the acclaimed designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, this is a Berlin destination not to be missed.
“At Camper we believe that luxury lays in simplicity, discretion, authenticity, healthy life and in understanding aesthetics as culture, as a source of inner satisfaction. Ultimately, a simpler, more human and more respectful way to relate to our world. Consistent with these beliefs, Casa Camper was born with the intention to bring Camper spirit and values to the hotel world, creating an innovative concept which combines a high degree of functionality and friendly aesthetics.”
