We needed a simple, modern yet durable entryway rug for our beach house. Sidekick in lime/green fit the bill perfectly. Not only is it dog friendly, but it keeps the sand and dirt from getting all over the house without showing any wear and tear whatsoever. I would highly recommend this rug for any high traffic area.

Hiya!
A few years ago, we received one of your catalogs in the mail. I tucked it away in my idea file to save for when we moved into a new house. Looked like a lot of fun and would fit in with our love of customizable decorating. Just a matter of time, I kept telling myself.
Finally that time came last month when I wanted to get down to business in our new playroom. I wanted something fun and energetic for our son, veering away from cutesy as much as possible. The play room is actually our formal living room (do people even use those any more?) and open to most of the lower level, so doing the project with some panache and style was absolutely critical. Twist and Shout in teal and lime stripes (product featured is Feelin’ Groovy) fit the bill perfectly. And yes, it was even fun for me to install. They don’t lie about that! Came together very quickly.
Getting ready to order again for our dining room. Love your super fast shipping too. I literally get a shipping notice within a hour of ordering and then it is at my house in two days. Can’t beat that!

How a garden can inspire a FLOR design

Hello FLOR,
I just installed these rugs built out of FLOR in my client’s Master Bedroom. The concept was to create an abstracted representation of a boxwood hedged gardens.
The field is Botanicals in Moss with a border of one quarter tiles of Morning Coffee in Latte and then an outside border of one third tiles of Feelin’ Groovy in Olive. There are four rugs in all… one on either side of the bed (1 with 2×3 field tiles and 1 with 1×3 field tiles) … one runner with 1×4 field tiles… and the large rug with two fields of 3×3 tiles on either side of a middle field of 1×3 tiles.
This project took a lot of careful cutting. Three of us worked a total of 24 hours to create them. But my clients are thrilled with the end result. And I am very happy with the way the whole project turned out. The rugs will provide a great grounding for the rest of the interior design of the room.
I have used FLOR throughout many other rooms of the house in more common arrangements. My clients are happy with it everywhere. In fact they installed the FLOR themselves in several rooms and were inpressed with how easily it went down. But they appreciated the artisitc skill and effort that went into creating the Master Bedroom rugs.
Many thanks for the help provided by your customer service people. They were invaluable in helping select the right color cominations to make this work.

We have a gallery space that changes its motif from time to time depending on the event. We originally have a hardwood floor but for the purpose of getting a good sound from the musical event we were having, we needed a carpet for the purpose.
I alone installed the carpet in no time and I used the Straight &Narrow tile. Check out our photos.

FLOR Hallway Project
Often we get stories from customers where FLOR has been able to transform a space. Here, FLOR was able to take an average hallway and create an inspiring room that tied multiple rooms together.

Dear FLOR,
I couldn’t be more excited about our hallway FLOR project. We chose the MARTHA Stewart Laurel NEEDLEPOINT STRIPE.
We bought an older house that had a formica, tiled floor in a horrible white brick pattern. I ripped it up and placed in the FLOR tiles. They made a flawless seem between the hardwood floors in the adjoining rooms. My huband was thrilled that I was able to find something that we could do ourselves and didn’t break the bank. I love knowing that if a tile gets ruined, it can easily be replaced.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful product, I am already planning what rooms to FLOR next.
