Deliriously Feminine

A friend of mine posted this beautiful image on Pinterest [side note: have you checked out Pinterest yet?  It's a great site that allows you to cull images from the internet and see them inpiration-board-style in one place...you can also sign up to see other people's Pinterest boards and that's where the REAL eye candy is!!] that she found of an antique-style doorknob used as curtain drawback and ever since I have been obsessed with pretty, little, feminine details. Fortunately, they seem to be in abundance in current design, so it was pretty easy to cull these drool-worthy images.

I am absolutely in love with this duvet.  The ruffles are so inviting and the gray is so beautiful.

These beautiful pillows offer even more texture to pair with the duvet above.

I'm really adoring these hooks and think they would be amazing in a child's room.

And while we're on the subject of wall decor; this quirky chalkboard sign…

…and this pretty dish, would look so lovely nestled amongst a gallery of frames.

Everyone loves a chandelier these days and this one with its graceful lines and distressed finish is no exception

Even an antique map can bring grace and texture to a room.

Have you been enjoying the return to a more feminine design aesthetic?
