Design Style: Industrial Chic

Many of us experience what I call *Design Cycling*. This is when you recycle your space, your style, your home. I recently went through one of these times and I wanted to evolve my style a bit more of an industrial vibe. I love this style and have slowly been introducing pieces with iron, glass and wood into my space.

There’s such great texture and lines in industrial decor. To me, these pieces have a lot of depth and soul and work well with soft touches, like rugs, throws and upholstered pieces. Whether it’s a remake of a vintage lamp or the use of glass and iron to create a contrast of materials, the industrial style is a great design statement in your home. Here are 3 rooms that rock the industrial style.

Living Room meets Industrial Chic
Rich leathers, iron design and distressed wood with classic lines. Throw in some plants for color.

 Bathroom meets Industrial Chic.
This pretty space is a fantastic look at how industrial chic works in a bathroom.

 Dining Room meets Industrial Chic
Reclaimed wood furniture mixed with upholstered style along with iron lights – perfect!
