Dipped Decor

How lovely are these wooden stools *dipped* in white paint?

Don’t you love a little bit of the unexpected when it comes to design? I certainly find that twist to the norm adds dimension to the everyday decor. Lately I’ve been spotting a fun theme that can be interpreted in many different ways – dipped decor. Whether it’s vase, drinking glasses or chairs, the addition of color to a glass or wood base is a great way to add a bit of style.

Aside from the contrast of textures, this style adds a bit of drama to items that are part of everyday life. The best part – you can create this style yourself by tackling a little DIY one afternoon. Click here to learn how to *dip* and create.

I’m in love with the idea of dipping things! The other application or process I’m currently loving is the ombre effect. Dipping can spice up so many items!

We recognize that lovely (even if we do say so ourselves) art print in the first photo – it’s our oak-framed ‘What Is Love?’. Love the table too.
