DIY Photo Wallpaper

I’ve long loved the idea of grid-like photo wallpaper, filled to the brim with portraits and adventures and mementos. But the process seemed daunting, so I never quite gave it a second thought. Until I spotted Elsie’s amazing photo wallpaper she created herself – in just a few days!

With little more than sheets of color-copied photos and a trusty staple gun, she transformed her space into a time capsule of loving memories. (Tip: Each grid is repeated, so if you don’t have a ton of photos no hand, no worries!) I love the idea of building the wall as you go, covering each repeated photo with a new one in its place, piecing together a story about relationships and life and experiences.

It’s like the modernized version of a heirloom quilt wall hanging, yes? I can’t wait to give it a go.

Tell me, would you try the look in your own home? Or are you too nervous to staple your walls? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I don’t know if I’d do a wall but my fridge is covered in magnets of my Instagram photos!
