Envious Greens

With the promise of warmer months ahead, I have found myself being drawn to the color green; perhaps in anticipation of lazy, barefoot walks with my son through the grass in our backyard.  Green is such a beautiful color and there are so many gorgeous hues; but I have really found myself drawn to vibrant, kelly green lately.

I absolutely love this photo from Elle Decor of a room that Nate Berkus designed in a home in Florida.  The green silk panels by de Gournay are breathtaking and make a stunning, full room statement of green.

And lest we think that bold, energetic green can only grace the bedroom – here is a gorgeous, kelly green kitchen with white and black accents, found over at alchemie.

The great thing about bold colors is that a little goes a long way.  If you aren't too keen on a full wall treatment of bright green, you can always use it on a large scale piece like this beautiful bedside table as seen over at MyHomeIdeas.

I found this beautiful hourglass stool over at Bungalow5

…and this amazing, tufted headboard from Home Decorators Collection would be an amazing green focal point in an otherwise white bedroom.

Have you seen these awesome green options available from FLOR?  Options in All Square and  In Stitches make beautiful statement pieces.

Even if you aren't willing to commit to something as large scale as a rug or a headboard, you can always seek green pops of color through smaller accent pieces like in this room from Ballard Designs.

I'm in love with this small hamper stool, also from Ballard Designs, upholstered in Domino Green.

Serena and Lily has some drool worthy fabrics highlighting green as well.

I fell in love with these Hampton Links vases from Jill Rosenwald when I first saw them in House Beautiful last year.

And check out how cute this hand painted tea pot is from Paisley Hill Designs.

And any of the following options from Z Gallerie would be a wonderful pop of color to add to a room.

Even without full-blown green walls, this beautiful room from Real Simple, filled with gorgeous green pieces, is still a show stopper.

Do you have a favorite green piece in your home?
