Fireplace for the Holidays?

So, you don’t have a fireplace for the holidays? No way for Santa to get in, huh. Whatever will you do? Well, there’s nothing like the power of imagination. This chalkboard-paint creation is the perfect solution to a festive holiday mantle. Ok, so you might need a space heater handy for warmth, but what a cheerful and fun solution for ¬†hanging those stockings by the chimney with care.

This simple project is made with a painters drop cloth, primed and then painted with chalkboard paint. Sew in a rod pocket, and design away! Happy Holidays.

One of my favorite parts of winter is building a nice warm fire and sitting in front of it with an adult beverage. Not sure if this would fly in my house but I like your creativity!
