Everyone loves a spacious home with tall, glamorous ceilings, right? And although not everyone’s home is naturally blessed with high ceilings, the look is oh-so-achievable whether your house has the right bones or not. Here are 3 secrets to pulling off the lofty look in your own home:
Step 1: Artwork Positioning. Take your existing art, photos and wall decor and move it 12-16 inches lower.
Step 2: Switch out wingback chairs and oversized sofas for low-to-the-ground, modular furniture.
Step 3: De-clutter. Opt for minimal accessories to keep the eye focused on the negative space – as high as your eye will take it!
