If I Could Save Spring in a Bottle
With Valentines Day almost here, which means Spring can't be too far away, I am finding myself drawn to soft, romantic styles of decor and vignettes. In my book, nothing could possibly be more romantic than wispy flowers delicately balanced in glass bottles. I can't put my finger on it – maybe it is the ethereal quality that a light-filled bottle can have, contrasted with its usually utilitarian purpose, paired with the grace of a flower stem; but whatever the reason, I just can't get enough of them. Fortunately I don't have to since there is so much beautiful inspiration out there. Just take a look at this collection of photos I have recently found that highlight this enchanting trend.
I am absolutely in love with these frosted bottles:
This collection with the multi-colored chalkboard paint embelishments is especially sweet:
Nothing says spring like forsythia branches! This collection is a perfect example that you don't have to curate the perfect frosty, blue eclectic bottle collection just to make a pretty display. I'm pretty sure one of the bottles below is a regular ol' juice bottle from the grocery store.
Aren't they dreamy? I especially love the last photograph with the nine glass bottles bound together with twine. It feels so fresh and green and vibrant. If I close my eyes, I can almost smell spring in the air.
Almost.
