Do you collect anything? I've been slowly adding to a variety of collections for years, but am not nearly at the quantity I'd like to be. I suppose I have hoarding tendencies, so collecting has never been hard for me. In fact, there's something oddly comforting about color coordinating, sorting and sifting through similar objects to form something larger in theory. It's a lovely thing, yes?

And no worries. If you don't have the space to create a large collection, start small. Vintage buttons are fun (and useful!), but take up such little space. Why not display them in a glass mason jar for a homespun conversation starter?
