Stunning in their simplicity, the Revolution collection by Felicia-Ferrone is an instant classic. The Revolution Wine/Water and Liqueur Glasses were inducted into the permanent collection of The Art Institute of Chicago’s Architecture and Design Collection. The Recolution Collection is handcrafted in the Czech Republic by master glassblowers, and formed from a pure extrusion of hand-blown borosilicate glass. This material provides a high degree of thermal resistance for a range of hot and cold applications, and is oven microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. When in use, the contents of these pieces appear to float, seeming to defy gravity and visually suspend their contents. The purity of form presents a feast for the eyes for your dining table. Ok, so now the pressure’s on to cook a dish to compete with the visual power of this collection. What culinary creation do you have in mind?
I love the multi-diciplinary approach to the work of Felicia-Ferrone. From Architecture, Exhibits and right down to this elegant packaging, every detail is thoughtful, and a carefully executed example of modern design.
