Product of the Week: The Rocking Bed
Posted by Erin | Filed under Inspiration, Musings
You’re flabbergasted, aren’t you? Me, too. I can’t quite speak to its functionality, but I will say that this rocking bed design is out-of-this-world beautiful.
Designed by Shiner International’s Joe Manus, the bed can be cemented in place with rubber stops, or left to rock the night away. Available as an indoor/outdoor piece, I can only imagine what a statement it would make in any space.
Of course, this unique piece will set you back a pretty penny: $3,000 to be exact. A small price to pay for mobile dreaming, yes?

A Guide to Non-Serious Decor
Posted by Erin | Filed under Design Tips, Inspiration, Musings, Solutions
I'm a big believer in taking life in stride, and in doing so, keeping it as non-serious as possible. Proof? Non-serious is decidedly a non-word.
Anyway, life is much, much too short to spend it holed up in a tightly-wound household, yes? Naturally, I like to keep t How Do I Get My Ex Girlfriend Back That I Love hings light, bright, airy and fun, and I'd imagine lovers of the following images would feel very much the same way:

Case in point? A fresh coat of paint in gazillions of colors is sure to brighten up any average staircase. It's the perfect non-permanent way to be non-serious.

No headboard? No problem. A whimsical approach to a bedroom staple shows that you don't have to spend a ton to get the look. In fact, I much prefer this flat alternative to the real thing, and it's perfect for tiny bedrooms that would suffer from added bulk.

And, of course, last but not least, work with what you've already got. Instead of displaying your books in any old fashion, get crafty and make a statement. Not only will you brighten up your home, but the creative display will make you look worlds more organized than you already are.
Happy decorating!
