When I spotted this studio addition in Los Angeles, my mind immediately recalled my dream dollhouse as a child. Perfectly dainty and floral-inspired, I remember wishing for a home just like this one. And although I never managed to hunt down the perfect match (clearly I hadn’t befriended XTEN architecture firm on the playground), I’d say finding this one years later is just as fun.
Don’t you love how the geometric angles sharpen the feminine perforations? A perfect mix of hard masculinity with soft finishes. And with gorgeous views from every angle, the creative blend of architectural elements add so much to the beautiful surroundings.
That’s it, Barbie… pack your bags! We’re movin’ in.

Lonny Mag's January/February release certainly didn't disappoint. In fact, the recent issue has left me reeling indeed, craving equal parts organization and adventure. My favorite find from Lonny? A sneak peek into the studio space of Lilly Pulitzer.
To be honest, I hadn't given Lilly much of a look these past few years… until now,of course. With a studio space that screams "Color! Pattern! Texture!", I'm absolutely floored by the inspiration that abounds.
Now that's a space one can play in, yes? The mood board alone would send me to the moon!
Tell me: Do you prefer your office space to be overwhelmingly busy, full of color and fun? Or do you prefer a clean, monochromatic and non-fussy desk? Spill it in the comments below!
