Why Don’t You…?

Sure, you may not have spare tea pots lying around your house, but I can guarantee you can find a variety at the thrift store… for pennies. Why not create mock planters and display your favorite greens on the back porch this summer?
I’d also play around with teacups, patterned vases and more for an eclectic and sweet look. Who says planters should have all the fun?

Summer lovin’…

What does summer mean to you? What are some of your favorite things to do? Hard to say if summer is my favorite season or not (I just love them all!), but it sure does put a smile on my face though. Here's my story of a lazy summer, with a bit of romance sprinkled in between…
… a sun-drenched room. how amazing will it be to spend a hot summer day indoors in this white-washed gorgeousness?
… ahhh cucumber-ginger fizzes. Refreshing and so pretty to look at. The cucumber ribbon is perfectly delectable, don't you think? { click here for the recipe }
… a lovely and pampering moment in the bath. a beautiful summer dress waiting to be worn.
… soft summer breezes. Laying in bed with door wide open. Where can I find this magical place?
… a quintessential seaside escape. And perhaps a genuine clambake right on the beach… with layers of rocks, seaweed, and all the yummy goodness that go along with that.
… peek-a-boo! So fun, so pure, and so easy. Somehow I can see a smile behind that linen towel.
… lush and vibrant. Give me fields and fields of this and I'll be there any day, with a book and picnic basket in hand.
