… finally get around to decorating that staircase?
Unadorned corners of the home are some of my favorite spots to attach meaning to – whether through photos, sentimental details or unusual objects. What better place to create a meaningful collage than an empty staircase wall?
I love that the art is unframed, making it feel temporary and unplanned. And you already know I’m a sucker for washi tape interiors.

The $5 Art Fix

Art is a must in my home, and I often find myself switching it out when the mood strikes (which is quite often!). It’s a fun habit, but certainly not an affordable one. Enter the $5 art fix: washi tape.
Of course, we’ve all spotted washi tape used to hang art, but what about making it the art itself? I love the idea of spelling out a favorite phrase, or perhaps spotlighting your family with giant monograms in fun typographic fonts. The possibilities are endless, and so perfectly interchangeable!
Perfect for the commitment phobe or art-lovers on a budget. Happy taping!
