If you’ve had a chance to dine at Copenhagen’s Noma then you are certainly ahead of the food curve. Voted “best dining in the world” for, count ‘em, 3 years in a row, this Nordic spot recently had a design makeover.
Moving from a warmer, more traditional style, the space now has more of a “Scandinavian chill”. See below to learn more about the impetus of this design makeover.
The restaurant is not about a specific Nordic aesthetic but rather a “feeling”. Designed now with earthy materials and a conscious nod to texture, the space is supposed to blur the line between the design and the dining experience. Interesting, indeed.
