The Tom Kundig Collection

Strange as it may seem, this is the kind of thing that makes me weak in the knees. Behold, gorgeous and substantial, the new Tom Kundig Collection of steel accessory pieces. Tom Kundig, of Seattle based Olson Kundig Architects, creates architectural details in his projects which are expressive, unpretentious and make good functional sense. Now, he has graciously shared these beautiful hardware solutions, and made them available for all to enjoy. Handmade, each a work of art, this collection is available through 12th Avenue Iron, a custom house focused on forging, fabrication and design. Simple, folded steel, with a lovely wax finish, also available in a modern palette of powder coated finish. Mr. Kundig’s new collection is featured online at Interior Design Magazine.
