Why Don’t You…?

… finally get around to decorating that staircase?

Unadorned corners of the home are some of my favorite spots to attach meaning to – whether through photos, sentimental details or unusual objects. What better place to create a meaningful collage than an empty staircase wall?

I love that the art is unframed, making it feel temporary and unplanned. And you already know I’m a sucker for washi tape interiors.

    Love this! I really want to do this, but I’m wondering…is it only for a very casual spot in a home? I don’t really understand what washi tape is- will it make the collage look cleaner than regular tape? Did you have all the pics printed on photo paper?
    My favorite pictures of my children are constantly changing and I love the idea of creating a temporary collage on a large wall- and rotating special quotes as well!
