…camouflage that aged, stained floor with a striped redeux?
Dishware designer Nora Fleming didn’t have the funds in her kitchen renovation budget to refinish her worn, ragged floors – and certainly couldn’t replace them. So like any good and resourceful designer, she simply covered up the problem, making that old kitchen floor her dirty little (oh so stylish!) secret.
By painting white stripes over the particularly bad parts of her floor, she fixed the cosmetic issue quickly and inexpensively. Bonus? She injected a healthy dose of personality and character along the way. Genius!
(Psst: If you’d like to recreate the look with carpet tiles, we’ve got you covered!)
