1. Contest Winner's First FLOR!

   I am taking this opportunity to let you know I've finally installed part of my "FLOR Prize" and am thoroughly delighted.
   
   My contest entry was totally dictated by the need for an attractive, serviceable hallway rug in our 1955 Ranch House. This area is used constantly as well as the six foot plus offshoot to the bathroom. We also have an 83 lb. Labradoodle who loves to run up and down said hallway. Standard hallway rug purchases have been less than satisfactory and in ten years we've gone through three.
   
   My decision to choose Checkered Past as the rug's main body and Twill Ride for the 6 inch border was based on the fact that it was a "heavy" use rug and the pattern fit in with our mid-century modern decor. Both were in
   the Laurel and Lime shade. I installed them yesterday.
   
   THEY LOOK GREAT!!!!
   
   I probably chose the most difficult area in our home for a FLOR tile configuration ... not to mention the addition of the border, but since I didn't know what I didn't know I plowed ahead and the result was a successful installation.
