1. FLOR & Pets Coexist Beautifully!

   Our busy household is full of furry friends - as I write this, our family includes 4 dogs, a cat & a houserabbit. Several of our dogs are seniors now, and they need carpeting for mobility. While everyone is housebroken, a couple of the older dogs just can't "hold it" the way they used to, and so we have occassional accidents to clean up. Not an easy task with wall-to-wall carpet and thick padding! Our new FLOR carpet was a wonderful solution! We purchased extra tiles and any time we come home to an accident, we just pull up the soiled tiles and replace them with the spare tiles. A thorough rinse in cool, running water is generally all that is needed to clean the tiles - occassionally, I'll use a little wool wash (you can purchase from your local yarn shop or online yarn vendors) for a tougher mess. Let the tiles dry, spray with a little Nature's Miracle or other enzymatic cleaner and they're ready to be used again. I can honestly say that FLOR tiles were one of the best investments we've made! Thank you for such a pet-friendly alternative to wall-to-wall carpeting!

2. Flor Tiles The Best for Pets!

   We have a very busy multi-pet household and our four large breed dogs are all getting up there in age. Where we once had rock-solid housebreaking, we now have dogs with weak bladders who have more accidents than in the past. Carpet is a necessity for them as their mobility starts to become more limited - so what's a girl to do? Flor tiles! No more foam padding beneath wall-to-wall carpet - instead, rubber backing on the Flor tiles! No more odors - if one of the dogs has an accident, we just use a butter knife to pop up the tiles and rinse them in cool, plain water in our utility sink downstairs. If we need a little more cleaning power, a bit of Woolite or Wool Wash from the yarn store, a little gentle rub in cool water and rinse well. We got extra tiles, so while they dry, we pop in the spare tiles that are in a box under the couch. Once the tiles dry, a spray with Nature's Miracle (we used pH strips to make sure that all cleaning products would be safe for the wool carpet before using). No stains, no odors, no worries! What a relief! Thank you for such a wonderful, pet friendly product!
