FLOR Hosts Exclusive Fall Design Event

Our SoHo store played host to an enthusiastic crowd of shoppers and design enthusiasts on Thursday, September 22.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres while browsing FLOR's exciting fall collection and getting a glimpse of new designer furnishings by Bensen and Artemide. The exclusive FLOR Store preview featured Bensen's Edward sofa and Lotus chair along with Artemide's new Tolemeo Mega lamp, all paired with a plush, 100% wool FLOR rug.

Our third retail store opens in SoHo

On March 31st, 2011, we expanded our retail presence with the opening of our flagship store in New York's SoHo neighborhood. The Grand Opening Event drew over 400 guests including media, local VIPs, design professionals and FLOR enthusiasts. The day began with a private press breakfast where media had an opportunity to interview FLOR's President and founder, Greg Colando, and capture exclusive first photos of the new store.

The excitement continued with an evening event where FLOR fans explored the two-story retail space adorned with graphic wall displays and vignettes featuring FLOR's vast product line. The pages of the inspirational FLOR catalog were brought to life in the store to help people envision how different styles can look in a room setting.

Greg Colando says of the New York store opening, "This will be our most important store. Fashion starts here, design starts here [in New York]. Our largest customer base is here and tells us that this is the right place."
