HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY TILES TO PURCHASE?
Easy. We’ll do the calculating for you. First measure the space you want to cover. Then go to our FLOR calculator. Lastly, type in your dimensions and our calculator will let you know how many tiles to order. This number also includes a 10% overage for replacements. |

IS FLOR EASY TO INSTALL?
Yes. With your product order you will receive step-by-step installation instructions. If you would like to see now, click here to see a video or to download an adobe version. An area rug takes about an hour and wall to wall takes an afternoon. FLOR brings new meaning to do it yourself. |

HOW DOES FLOR STAY IN PLACE?
FLOR is engineered with structural integrity to hug the floor. Every order comes with FLOR’s revolutionary new FLORDots. The FLORDots have notches that guide tile fit and the sticky side stays on the FLOR, not your floor. The result? A floating FLOR. |

IS FLOR EASY TO CLEAN?
Yes. FLOR stays put under traffic and vacuuming. For spills pull up the tiles and rinse under cool water. For stains, use a non-citrus/non-solvent cleaner. Always dry tiles before replacing. Never place FLOR on/in heating elements. |

WHAT IS FLOR MADE OF?
Most face constructions are nylon; others are natural fibers like hemp or wool. Our backings are a composite, made up of some recycled materials. All FLOR products recycle like a champ and all have the lowest VOC (new carpet smell) in the industry. WHAT IS A BEVELED EDGE?
Most of our products are made with a straight edge, but some have a beveled edge to give it that grid-like look upon installation. FLOR products with a beveled edge include Solid Ground, Toy Poodle, and Walking on Clouds.

CAN FLOR BE INSTALLED ANYWHERE?
Yes, in almost any room over a clean, hard, dry surface. The only surfaces not compatible are carpeted/padded floors, hand painted/vintage finishes, unfinished waxed floors, un-sealed concrete and outside. Seal concrete floors with a non-solvent based sealer (from your local hardware/home improvement center).

HOW THICK IS FLOR?
Like carpet, FLOR comes in different thicknesses for different applications. Extra plush for bedrooms; heathered to mask dirt in high traffic areas; even treaded for utility rooms. |
