Yes. FLOR tiles are engineered for commercial performance and designed to stand up to high-traffic environments such as offices, conference rooms, education and healthcare facilities, hospitality spaces, and retail settings.

Many styles feature commercial-grade fibers and backing systems that resist crushing, stains, and everyday wear, maintaining their appearance over time. All tiles are backed by a 15-year commercial warranty.

FLOR tiles install as a modular system using non-toxic FLOR Dots designed to stick to the underside of each tile and not to the floor beneath. Using the correct FLORdots secures the tiles to one another so there’s no curling, gapping, or slippage.

This approach offers several advantages:

Yes, FLORdots^® are included with each order and are used to connect tiles together. Pressure-sensitive adhesive is also available for projects that require a more permanent installation.

FLOR tiles can be easily cut onsite using a straight edge and a sharp utility knife. Limited factory cutting options may also be available depending on project needs.

Most in-stock FLOR tiles ship within approximately 2-3 business days and arrive within 5–7 business days in the continental U.S. If a product is not in stock at time of order entry, the standard lead time is approximately 6-8 weeks.

FLOR tiles are packaged by tile rather than a fixed carton quantity. The number of tiles per carton varies by style. For order accuracy, purchase orders should be submitted in tiles or square yards (SY).

No. FLOR tiles can be ordered in any quantity, making them suitable for projects of all sizes.

FLOR’s preferred carrier is UPS Ground for orders under 100 carpet tiles (30 SY). Orders over that amount will ship Best Way with freight carriers.

FLOR tiles measure 19.7" × 19.7" (50 cm × 50 cm). Each tile covers approximately 2.69 square feet or .299 square yards.

Yes. Fibers are fused directly into the backing, creating a clean, finished edge without the need for additional treatments. Please consult your sales representative regarding additional third-party edge treatment options.

ADA guidelines require a transition when flooring height is 0.25 inches or greater. Because tile thickness varies by style, some installations may require transition strips. Please consult your sales representative regarding project-specific guidance.

FLOR tiles feature Glasbac backing as standard, with the exception of our carbon-negative collection. Other backing options are available with a minimum order quantity. Standard overages and upcharges will apply. Contact your sales representative to discuss project details.
